The hotel was clean and wonderful small, had great views over town. The room was tastefully decorated, fully-equipped, tiled bathroom. We had cereals, pancakes, and eggs for breakfast and it was outstanding! Location: the venue was near close to the train stations and the Central Station and other bars. Ate at Elektra, it's just a short stroll away from the venue. Liked our very nice stay there a lot.

Clean and tidy rooms and quiet, restful sleep.
We had a charge for the garage on our bill but did not use the garage because it was full when we arrived so we had to park on the street. The charge was removed but it took extra time to check out. Also, we were there during Midsummer celebration and would have liked to know that there was a special maypole celebration in Gammlia but were not told of it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aveny. We were using the hotel for a base from which to commute to the Umea Football Festival, as our son was competing in the festival to represent Coleraine Schools from Northern Ireland. All facilities that one would expect were made available, the room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. For breakfast there was a wide range to choose from and everything was fresh and edible, if you went hungry it was your own fault !!! The staff were extremely helpful especially at organising taxi's etc for the party of people along with us from Northern Ireland. We had a great experience of Sweden and would definately use this Hotel again, that is if Sweden wish to have our boys back again next year, considering all 3 groups of footballers won 3 cups to take back home on our return flight!!!!
We had a slight difficulty getting the fridge in our room to work, but this was a minor detail.

Extremely friendly staff, well-designed room, central location, very good price.
Breakfast buffet only had filter coffee, i.e. no coffee machine to make a *real* coffee

The location of Profilhotels in Umea was absolutely perfect. It was right in the heart of the city, surrounded by amazing restaurants, cafes, and shops. I enjoyed exploring the vibrant neighborhood and everything was just a short walk away.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as thin walls and chipped bathroom tiles, they did not significantly impact my overall experience. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, readily assisting me in changing to a quieter room.

Hotel was nothing special, close to the (airport)bus station, in the city center
Everything was closed in Umea due to Midsummer, receptionist was not very helpful with any restaurant tips, was not informed, the hotel restaurant was even closed!

Good survice in restaurant.
There is not a kettle in the room. You have to go downstairs to have coffee or tea in the lobby.

Profilhotels Aveny in Umea: Pros - The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great, and the breakfast had everything I needed. Cons - The beds were uncomfortable, felt like sleeping in a hole. That's it. I don't have time for more complaints.
